Health and Nutrition
Disease is largely preventable with good nutrition. Plants have built-in defenses to protect our cells from damage. We can charge our bloodstream with these phytochemicals from colorful fruits and vegetables across the spectrum, as well as whole grains, and herbs and spices. Certain chemicals in foods go beyond prevention and have even been shown to reverse some cancers. The delightful part of all of this is that we get to enjoy delicious meals made from these ingredients at the same time as we’re enhancing our health.
